In Conversation with Professor Sir Patrick Vernon

Join Professor Sir Patrick Vernon OBE and Dr Carol Brown-Leonardi, Founder and Chair of ACRG and a Cambridge alumna, for a conversation exploring Sir Patrick’s work advancing racial equality, health equity and social justice, alongside his work building bridges between the Caribbean and its diaspora in the UK.

The event will take place on Tuesday, 13 October 2026 at 2pm at Trinity College, and will be followed by a speech at 6pm at the Cambridge Union, Debating Chamber on Leadership in the Shadow of Social Death: Equality, Sufferation and the Struggle to Belong.

Please note that as both events are free and open to Cambridge students and graduates, availability of seats will be on a first come, first served basis. No ticket required, just bring your university student ID card (UCAM Card).
