IT support

We are looking for volunteers to assist our community group with IT and social media support. Training will be given on weekdays between 6 – 7 pm.

Dominoes teacher

We are looking for an experienced dominoes player to teach beginners Caribbean traditional dominoes at the NCI Centre, 1 Holland St, Arbury, Cambridge CB4 3DL for 1 hour every Sunday between 5 and 7 pm. £10.00/per hour.

Skills: experienced player with knowledge of the game.

Events coordinator

We are looking for events coordinators to liaise with the board trustees to organise social events.

  • You will liaise with entertainers, DJ’s and music artists organise and to set up main events.
  • You will assist the trustees work with market and public relations. Discussing the objectives of the event.
  • You will assist to manage promotions, communications, and the banding aspects of the event.
  • You will assist with supervising caterers and the security teams.
  • You will assist with problem solving and guest inquiries before and during events.
  • You will assist in approving the events.

Skills: No skills required.

Research assistant

Exciting opportunities for Research Assistant to play an important role in supporting research to organisation to improve historical knowledge and the social welfare of the African and African Caribbean community. Multiple positions are available across the organisation.
